OmniNotes let you attach high‑res photos (PhotoNotes) and voice memos (VoiceNotes) at the exact spot you’re standing—no extra hardware. Read more about Omninotes and VistaCapture.
PhotoNotes
High resolution photos are perfect for capturing detail too fine for the 360 camera. Use the OmniNote PhotoNote feature during capture and the photo will automatically be geolocated in the tour.
Taking a PhotoNote
- During a capture, tap 📸 Photo to take a PhotoNote.
- Aim the phone camera at the object to take a photo.
Viewing PhotoNotes in SiteView
The PhotoNote will give you a high-resolution image that will be geolocated with your tour. The note appears as a pin in SiteView next to the dollhouse and you can view all OmniNotes in full-resolution and even search for OmniNotes by text that appears in the image.
Taking VoiceNotes
- Tap 🎙VoiceNote
- Record up to 60 seconds—great for punch‑list comments or verbalizing an issue on on the spot
- End the recording to save the Voice Note.
Listening to VoiceNotes in SiteView
Speech‑to‑text runs in the cloud and the VoiceNote will appear as a pin in SiteView. You can drill down to voice notes only and search for specific text within the voice notes to help find the voice note that you are looking for.
Tips and Best practices
- Use Tags (#Mechanical, #Safety) so filters can isolate later.
- Follow on-screen guides so Photonotes aren't taken too close to the object.
