Camera Motion Playback helps understand how the space was captured by showing the calculated 3D path of the camera during Capture. Camera Motion Playback shows the speed of the camera: as the speed increases the line changes from blue to yellow to red. Too fast of captures can decrease 3D map quality.
Playing Camera Motion
Load you Capture in SiteView and press play to start the Camera Motion Playback button. The total time of the capture is displayed and speed is indicated.
Analyzing Camera Motion
Camera Elevation
Capturing a site at different elevations can improve capture in many situations. You can also understand elevation by showing pano bubbles.
Camera Speed
Camera speed is color coded in the line. For high-quality 3D mapping, it is recommended to walk at a normal pace (4 feet/s or 3 mph or 4.5 km/h) while recording 360 video footage. Moving too fast can negatively affect 3D map result.
| Line Color | Speed | Notes |
| Blue | Good | Good Speed (not too fast) |
| Yellow | Over Speed | Slightly too fast. |
| Red | Rushed | Moving too fast can effect 3D Map Result |
